EDX-Pocket III is a handheld energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer specially developed for field and on-site analysis with the characteristics of small volume, light weight and handheld. The serial models are such as hazardous substance analyzer, alloy grade analyzer, soil analyzer, precious metal analyzer, minerals analyzer. EDX-P730 can be widely used in fields such as minerals analysis, geographic analysis, scrap metals recycling analysis and archeology research. Samples are including all natural minerals, slag, rocks, soils slurry ranging from sulfur to uranium; they have solid, liquid and powder forms.

Performance characteristics

Same performance and reliability as the bench-top spectrometers due to combined use of low-power integrated mini X-ray tube and large area Be-window electric-cooling Si-Pin detector with the former having low power consumption but high excitation efficiency.
The instrument is small, light and portable, providing on-site and in-situ analysis whenever and whatever.
High resolution 640*480 PDA, coupled with mini multi-channel analyzer in Bluetooth communication, keeps the measurement data in hands under any circumstances.
Adapt to rapid analysis in handheld mode or long time precise test in stand mode.
The instrument is proof against water and dust and operable in high temperature and high humidity surroundings. Besides, the design of the protective case consists with that of the military supplies: moisture, shock and pressure proof.
